With regard to the issues relative to tech support/software, the Receiver cannot provide any guarantee or assurance regarding the functioning or reliability of these products -- they may or may not be operating as consumers expect and the relevant updates may or may not work. 

 

Please be advised that regardless of functionality, no future renewals and/or tech support will be available from the Corporate Defendants based upon the Court’s denial of the Defendants’ Motion to Dissolve. Of course, customers are always free to uninstall the software at issue and purchase a replacement and/or obtain tech support from another vendor.

Q. How do I delete data from my iDrive Backup set?

 

A. You can delete data from the Backup set in the following ways:

Right-click the file/folder/drive under the 'Files selected for Backup' list and choose the 'Remove all items' or 'Remove selected item(s)' from the menu.

Select the file/folder/drive under the 'Files selected for Backup' list and press the 'Delete' key on your computer keyboard.

Q. How do I uninstall the iDrive app from my computer?

A. To uninstall the app using Windows:

1.Go to your start menu and select Settings > Control Panel


2.In 'Control Panel', depending on the version of Windows you are using, select either 'Add/Remove Programs' or 'Programs and Features'

3. From the list of programs, right-click on 'IDrive' and select 'Uninstall/Change'


4.The application will then be removed, but the data present in your IDrive folder will remain on the computer. To delete this, right-click the IDrive shortcut item and select 'Open folder location'. Then right-click the IDrive folder and delete it.

Q. How do I uninstall Webroot SecureAnywhere from a Mac computer?

A. Webroot SecureAnywhere does not require any removal tools to uninstall it from your computer. 

To uninstall Webroot SecureAnywhere:

  1. Shut down SecureAnywhere by clicking the Webroot icon in the menu bar and selecting Shut Down SecureAnywhere. ...

  2. Open the Finder by clicking the Finder icon in the dock.

  3. Open the Applications directory.

  4. Click and drag the Webroot SecureAnywhere program icon into the Trash in the dock.


 

Q. How do I uninstall Webroot SecureAnywhere from a Windows computer?

A. Webroot SecureAnywhere does not require any removal tools to uninstall it from your computer. 

To uninstall Webroot SecureAnywhere:

  1. Follow the correct steps for your Operating System.

    Windows XP:
     

    • Click Start, then click Run. In the Run window, type "appwiz.cpl" (without quotes), then press Enter on your keyboard.


    Windows Vista/Windows 7:
     

    • Click Start, or the Windows icon. In the Search field, type "appwiz.cpl" (without quotes), then press Enter on your keyboard.


    Windows 8:
     

    • Move your cursor to the bottom right of the screen to open the Charm Bar menu. Click Search, then type "appwiz.cpl" (without quotes), and press Enter on your keyboard.


    Windows 10:
     

    • In the Cortana Search bar type "appwiz.cpl" (without quotes), and press Enter on your keyboard.

     

  2. This will open your Control Panel to the list of all programs currently installed on your computer.

  3. Scroll down the programs list until you see the Webroot security product. 

  4. Click the Webroot security product entry once to select it, then click Uninstall/Remove. 

  5. When asked if you are sure you want to uninstall, click Yes to continue. 

  6. If prompted with a CAPTCHA, enter the requested characters and click Enter.

If the uninstall fails or your access is restricted, try the following:

Use the following steps to boot the computer into Safe Mode with Networking.

1. Shut down the computer.

2. Turn the computer on and tap the F8 key repeatedly.

 

3. Use the Up and Down arrows to select Safe Mode with Networking.

4. On your keyboard, press Enter.

5. Do one of the following depending on your operating system:

  • Windows XP – Click Start, and then click Run. In the Run window, type

 

     appwiz.cpl, then press Enter on your keyboard.

  • Windows Vista/Windows 7 – Click Start, or the Windows icon. In the

 

      Search field, type appwiz.cpl, then press Enter on your keyboard.

6. Select Webroot SecureAnywhere, then click Uninstall/Remove.

7. Confirm any messages regarding uninstalling the program.

8. Once the uninstall process has finished, restart the computer. If Webroot SecureAnywhere

is not visible in the Control Panel, the software can be uninstalled from the command line by

running the following: C:\Program Files\Webroot\WRSA.exe –uninstall
